Bookings and Payments

• Reservations can be made through the website, email or in person.
• Payment can be made online, by transfer or on site.
• The reservation is only considered valid after confirmation by email.

Conduct and Safety

• All participants must know how to swim.

• The use of equipment provided involves the commitment to treat it with care.

• Our instructors have adequate training and will follow safety protocols, but participation in the activities involves risk.

Limitation of Liability

Guincho Surf Shop is not responsible for accidents caused by failure to follow the instructors’ instructions or unforeseen weather conditions.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We know that plans can change, so we have created a fair and flexible policy:

Cancellations:
• Cancellation up to 24h before the activity: full refund or credit
• Cancellation less than 24h: no refund (except for proven medical reasons)
• In case of bad weather, rescheduling or credit will be offered

No-shows:
• If the participant does not show up without prior notice, no refund will be made.

Changes by Guincho Surf Shop:
• In case of unsafe sea conditions, the activity will be rescheduled or refunded.

The practice of surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and other water activities involves physical risk. Guincho Surf Shop ensures qualified instructors and appropriate equipment, but participation is at the customer’s own risk. When booking an activity, the participant declares to be aware of these risks and agrees to sign a liability waiver.
